18. 00:00:57:71 / 00:01:03:01 - little yellow triangle or in strangle or
19. 00:01:00:44 / 00:01:05:89 - yellow triangle doesn't seem to work so
20. 00:01:03:01 / 00:01:08:06 - we're not going to get any internet
21. 00:01:05:90 / 00:01:10:74 - activity on this computer
22. 00:01:08:06 / 00:01:15:14 - we have artificially created this
23. 00:01:10:73 / 00:01:16:51 - solution so we obviously know what the
24. 00:01:15:15 / 00:01:19:46 - problem is but we're going to show you
25. 00:01:16:51 / 00:01:21:23 - certain techniques that you can use if
26. 00:01:19:46 / 00:01:24:23 - you don't know what the problem is then
27. 00:01:21:23 / 00:01:27:17 - you're getting either a red X or this
28. 00:01:24:23 / 00:01:29:09 - yellow triangle the first thing
29. 00:01:27:18 / 00:01:31:77 - obviously the easy option is
30. 00:01:29:09 / 00:01:36:70 - troubleshoot problems that will go
31. 00:01:31:76 / 00:01:41:54 - through that and it should look for
32. 00:01:36:70 / 00:01:44:23 - certain issues and it will probably find
33. 00:01:41:54 / 00:01:49:74 - something it'll say try these repairs as
34. 00:01:44:23 / 00:01:56:17 - administrator now as you can see
35. 00:01:49:73 / 00:02:01:97 - sometimes it will fix it which is great
36. 00:01:56:18 / 00:02:06:18 - let's assume it did not fix it ok there
37. 00:02:01:97 / 00:02:14:03 - is another automatic way which is go
38. 00:02:06:18 / 00:02:16:87 - there kado settings go to network
39. 00:02:14:03 / 00:02:21:34 - click actually not click just scroll
40. 00:02:16:87 / 00:02:23:28 - down and this is where if the
41. 00:02:21:34 / 00:02:27:00 - troubleshooter didn't work this is a
42. 00:02:23:28 / 00:02:28:47 - complete reset but it's not a 100% reset
43. 00:02:27:00 / 00:02:32:07 - because we've found the path we've had
44. 00:02:28:47 / 00:02:37:62 - to use manual method as well so reset
45. 00:02:32:08 / 00:02:39:94 - now what that does it will reset most
46. 00:02:37:62 / 00:02:42:15 - are what it should be doing is all of
47. 00:02:39:93 / 00:02:43:71 - the settings and it will say you'll be
48. 00:02:42:15 / 00:02:46:81 - signed out in five minutes which gives
49. 00:02:43:71 / 00:02:51:56 - you time to close your programs etc save
50. 00:02:46:81 / 00:02:54:81 - your work what we're going to do is just
51. 00:02:51:56 / 00:02:59:94 - stop that and automatically restart the
52. 00:02:54:81 / 00:03:03:12 - computer and it'll be back ok ok now
53. 00:02:59:94 / 00:03:07:86 - after a reset it should hopefully be
54. 00:03:03:12 / 00:03:12:18 - working all good ok let's assume it
55. 00:03:07:87 / 00:03:16:12 - still is causing problems ok we're going
56. 00:03:12:18 / 00:03:18:54 - to show you the manual method now so
57. 00:03:16:12 / 00:03:25:68 - once you're actually over here you type
58. 00:03:18:54 / 00:03:28:59 - in PowerShell run it as administrator ok
59. 00:03:25:68 / 00:03:37:59 - and what you're going to need to do is
60. 00:03:28:59 / 00:03:39:48 - type in ipconfig - flush dns there's
61. 00:03:37:59 / 00:03:42:34 - going to be a number of commands that
62. 00:03:39:48 / 00:03:50:09 - you're going to have to run ok the next
63. 00:03:42:34 / 00:03:57:15 - command you need to run is NB t st 80 -
64. 00:03:50:09 / 00:04:02:37 - are run that ok then we're going to run
65. 00:03:57:15 / 00:04:06:15 - the same command again which is ND t st
66. 00:04:02:37 / 00:04:11:76 - 80 with a two hours rather than one hour
67. 00:04:06:15 / 00:04:21:54 - - RR run that ok so we've got that out
68. 00:04:11:76 / 00:04:24:64 - of the way then it's n ET f h i n t I P
69. 00:04:21:54 / 00:04:29:81 - and then it's Reese
70. 00:04:24:64 / 00:04:33:50 - at all now what that does it'll go
71. 00:04:29:81 / 00:04:35:99 - through as much as possible as you can
72. 00:04:33:50 / 00:04:39:97 - see over here there is an access denied
73. 00:04:35:99 / 00:04:44:50 - for one little part it asks you to
74. 00:04:39:97 / 00:04:48:62 - restart your computer ok do restart your
75. 00:04:44:50 / 00:04:51:86 - computer once you come back ok we still
76. 00:04:48:62 / 00:04:55:28 - need to run a few more commands and then
77. 00:04:51:86 / 00:04:56:96 - restart again ok and we're just for
78. 00:04:55:27 / 00:05:01:39 - simplicity sake we're just going to run
79. 00:04:56:95 / 00:05:08:22 - the command now ok so any T Sh
80. 00:05:01:39 / 00:05:13:51 - that's the next one then it's int ipv4
81. 00:05:08:22 / 00:05:21:15 - reset so you're basically resetting all
82. 00:05:13:51 / 00:05:24:16 - your ipv4 things the same thing with 6
83. 00:05:21:16 / 00:05:28:66 - click reset is asking you to restart the
84. 00:05:24:16 / 00:05:32:14 - computer and the final one that we found
85. 00:05:28:66 / 00:05:35:65 - seems to work if you actually have done
86. 00:05:32:14 / 00:05:38:77 - something with your network and you've
87. 00:05:35:66 / 00:05:41:57 - collect up roots etc and all that stuff
88. 00:05:38:77 / 00:05:48:18 - this is the one that seems to kinda like
89. 00:05:41:56 / 00:05:56:06 - solve it Nats Sh ok that it's windsock
90. 00:05:48:18 / 00:05:58:75 - ok windsock and then reset and then run
91. 00:05:56:06 / 00:06:01:31 - this ok it asks you to restart your
92. 00:05:58:75 / 00:06:06:43 - computer so obviously you would restart
93. 00:06:01:31 / 00:06:08:44 - your computer ok restart and after a
94. 00:06:06:43 / 00:06:11:24 - restart with a little bit of luck
95. 00:06:08:44 / 00:06:14:90 - hopefully you've got your internet
96. 00:06:11:24 / 00:06:19:55 - access you can access websites access
97. 00:06:14:89 / 00:06:22:63 - corporate settings etc you might need to
98. 00:06:19:55 / 00:06:25:97 - because after all this is done ok if you
99. 00:06:22:63 / 00:06:28:75 - have any specific IP settings that are
100. 00:06:25:97 / 00:06:32:02 - given by your corporate environment etc
101. 00:06:28:75 / 00:06:36:09 - you might need to come over here and
102. 00:06:32:01 / 00:06:41:08 - basically click on that
103. 00:06:36:10 / 00:06:46:52 - okay and go to properties let's assume
104. 00:06:41:08 / 00:06:48:97 - your company has a specific static IP
105. 00:06:46:51 / 00:06:51:93 - address with a DNS server that you need
106. 00:06:48:98 / 00:06:55:75 - to enter in you might need to do this
107. 00:06:51:93 / 00:06:57:52 - after these things have been done
108. 00:06:55:75 / 00:07:01:93 - because it completely wipes what has
109. 00:06:57:52 / 00:07:08:83 - been previously set up and it resets it
110. 00:07:01:93 / 00:07:12:23 - all back to almost factory state what
111. 00:07:08:83 / 00:07:16:00 - you will notice we ran the manual
112. 00:07:12:23 / 00:07:19:31 - commands sometimes we've found run the
113. 00:07:16:00 / 00:07:23:08 - manual commands and then once again go
114. 00:07:19:31 / 00:07:29:23 - back to settings click on the network
115. 00:07:23:08 / 00:07:34:21 - and then run that Network reset thing
116. 00:07:29:23 / 00:07:38:24 - you might need to do manual once this
117. 00:07:34:22 / 00:07:40:76 - maybe twice or manual twice this maybe
118. 00:07:38:24 / 00:07:44:31 - once or twice you get what I mean it's a
119. 00:07:40:75 / 00:07:49:03 - little bit sometimes funny sometimes
120. 00:07:44:31 / 00:07:49:93 - work initially but with a combination of
121. 00:07:49:04 / 00:07:51:47 - doing it
122. 00:07:49:93 / 00:07:55:55 - resetting your computer a number of
123. 00:07:51:47 / 00:07:58:97 - times after all these manual versions
124. 00:07:55:55 / 00:08:02:72 - have been done and also this reset
125. 00:07:58:97 / 00:08:06:65 - things generally we'll found come back
126. 00:08:02:72 / 00:08:10:91 - to original status so hopefully this
127. 00:08:06:64 / 00:08:14:32 - video shall show you how to solve your
128. 00:08:10:91 / 00:08:17:30 - network problems if it all completely
129. 00:08:14:32 / 00:08:20:99 - does not work and you're literally stuck
130. 00:08:17:30 / 00:08:23:11 - with a red X or a yellow triangle and
131. 00:08:20:99 / 00:08:25:61 - you've tried the troubleshooter and
132. 00:08:23:11 / 00:08:28:33 - nothing works thank you for watching
133. 00:08:25:61 / 00:08:28:33 - have a good day
